O.T.O.
O.T.O., or Ordo Templi Orientis, is an international organization that has a secret meaning for its initiates. The Order doesn't actively seek new members or try to convert others, but those who are sincere and modest in their aspirations are welcome to join.
The structure of O.T.O. is based on a series of initiations or degrees, similar to ancient mystery schools. Through the rituals of these degrees, O.T.O. aims to teach its members about the profound mysteries of nature and help them discover their true identities through allegory and symbol.
The ultimate goals of O.T.O. can only be fully understood by its highest initiates, but it is known to teach hermetic science, occult knowledge, and various forms of yoga, as well as the secrets of mystic attainment and the techniques for achieving spiritual enlightenment. The Order also claims to possess the secret to achieving the universal dream of a brotherhood of humanity, as well as the secret of the Philosopher's Stone, the Elixir of Immortality, and the Universal Medicine.
O.T.O. has hidden retreats in major cities around the world, called Collegium ad Spiritum Sanctum, where members can work on their Great Work without interference.
